My Story

Reaching New Heights

Hello. My name is Tim Ward Director of 6T Property Developments

From a very early age, i have been involved in the building of properties. My father began his working life as an apprentice to a local building firm, and i wasn`t very old when he started his own building company. I remember occasionally travelling with him to projects that he was in the process of completing and taking in the life of a builder and the accomplishment through completion. As the years passed i would spend a lot of my school holiday time working at my fathers projects, just being a help at first and then gradually doing more little jobs.

I had the building bug. I carried on working in my fathers business, excited by the chance to work in such a varied and creative workspace. To start work on a patch of ground, or a wreck of a building and then turn that into a place to live or work was inspiring.

The beginning of the 1990`s was a terrible time for the British economy and the building industry suffered probably more than any. My father`s health took a turn for the worse and I needed to find work, which i did by starting a landscaping business with a friend. After a few years my friend decided to move into other employment, but i continued with constructive landscaping up until starting 6T Property Developments. I had still kept my hand in with building work also, taking on many projects when asked, including a large extension to a nursing home, residential extensions and smaller works and my own home.

It was whilst watching a property developer talking about converting a commercial building, on the internet, that i began to realise that i should be involved fully in the re-invention of buildings again. I was excited by the prospect, and so 6T Property Developments was born.

Who we are

For a number of years now, the British governments have been informing us that we are not building enough homes to cope with demand. This situation does not appear to be changing. At 6T Property Developments, we see that with low supply and high demand, there is great opportunity for both our business and our partners.

6T Property Developments is only a small company, but we feel that being small gives us more flexibility, and also to be more creative, and attentive to the needs of our clients, customers, and partners. Above all, we are about great value, quality and integrity.

Rather than targeting huge swathes of countryside, we are particularly interested in redeveloping existing unused, or underused buildings and land. Giving property a new lease of life and helping to address the needs of future clientele. All of this is achievable with the combination of an expert, experienced team of building professionals, and selected investors.
